They give us stuff to keep us around as an installed base of hopefully purchasing customers of GW2. They DON'T give us stuff because they are cool and like us. Some people aye?

It certainly gives some insight into what Anet might be telling (or NOT telling) their CR managers. I remember similar snafus with Gaile giving out incorrect and/or incomplete info. It all seems very cloak and dagger, doesn't it? "Need to know basis" and all that.

When she says an update was pushed back due to the absence of a staff member and another update due the same day was pushed back, it seems like the absence of the staff member also caused the delay of the title balance. She said there was an absence of a staff member and the title balance was pushed back, she never said the title balance was purposely delayed. Maybe Regina is confused, maybe I was confused (I'm assuming I was), but she should be making things like this more clear.

Sound like more BS to me. Regina...you hardly ever give us any information and now it seems that you're giving us lame unnecessary excuses. Fail.
Serenity...when the reputation of the company spreads like wildfire through the gaming community, it affects their sales and the likelihood of that next generation of gamers being interested in their product. When they make a sequel to a game and piss off the original players of that game, they lose a big fanbase and make for a wealth of information about their business practices for new players to base their purchasing decisions on.

You missed the point entirely... but that is to be expected...
I didn't threaten to not buy the next game. I was pointing out that they do these updates to keep the installed base around. The installed base will most likely be 100% business on the ist day of the game. The larger that installed base the larger the 1st day/week of sales will be.
Updates, events, etc, are to try to maintain the size of the installed/active base of customers. They aren't done because they like us.

Correct.
We had planned to separate the builds and split them to a build on November 6 for tonics, skill balances, and tournament points (points delayed to Nov 13) and a build on November 13 for the title re-balance. This decision has been in place for a while.

Since you don't do in game chats that I have ever seen....Where should we be getting our information from?
You guys stopped doing in game chats and now I need to check like 14 different places to see if there is any new news. I need to read your wiki page, Gaile's Wiki Page, Linsey's Wiki page, Guru, + other fan sites????

By doing this Xunlai Tourney House Reward pts system, ANet created expection from all who make predictions monthly and has phailed to meet them for so many for the last three or four months.
Just get rid of the Xunlai Tourney House Reward Pts all together for predictions.
Problem solved!!
The complainers kinda remind me of what people on public aid (welfare) do when their aid checks get delayed or cut.... Like aid checks the XTH reward pts has the unfortunate tendancy to make certain people dependant and lazy. Some players now generally think that the monthly reward pts for 10-20 Z Keys per account is an entitlement and not a bonus. This prediction system was intended to make GW more entertaining and make players more happy, but it has ended up making people pissed off.

You are underestimating the importance of "Word of mouth". Besides unhappy customers tell 9 people, happy tell 5. If a friend tells me the game and/or the company is shit, I am not going to buy it or any product from the company.

We got the update for skills in the end and these points don't come until next week so why complain? As stated it was kind of obvious that both reasons that were given were genuine, why would they lie as such? Then you say that Regina doens't do anything. How many times does it have to be said that She does alot of other things besides talk to players.. Giving information? - its best not to say stuff as they could change their mind at any point and it will upset alot more people.
